Haley Griffith, M.Ed. CCC-SLP, received a Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Virginia, as well as a B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a B.M. in Vocal Music Performance from James Madison University. Haley's past experience and training have led to a love of working with children of all ages and particular interests in the areas of early language acquisition, expressive/receptive language disorders, articulation/phonological disorders, fluency disorders, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) use.
Haley is a neurodiversity-affirming therapist who loves to use child-led play, books, and songs in therapy sessions to create a fun, engaging environment for communication growth. She also enjoys collaborating with the child's family/caregivers and other specialists to determine the best individualized treatment for each child. Outside of work, Haley can be found hiking and exploring local state parks. She also works as a pianist and singer for restaurants, weddings, and other private events.
